Hi
Welcome to forum.
Thank you for information.

But Motion detection requires normal frame rate cameras, not slow shutter nor frame stacking cameras, therefore those cameras seem not enough sensitivity.
Ex. 600TV camera spec is 0.0002 LUX Sternenlicht(DSS x 128)
it means 0.02 LUX at x1

and we are not recommending allsky or fisheye lens.
Most of us in Japanese Network use 45degree to 60degree FOV system, because they catch big beautiful images of meteors or sprites and enables hi-accuracy measurement. (Mag 3 star images in the video are required for precise measurement.)
The recomended camera is WATEC 902H2Ultimage
http://www.watec.co.jp/english/bw/wat_902_ultimate.html
Its sensitivity is 0.0001 lux. at F1.4 , 1/60sec exposure

Most of us are using auto-iris lens. It automatically protects CCD from day light.
It is safe enough. I am running 9 years but there is no damage of sunlight.
I am also using manual irs lens but it is only for Northern direction.

Sorry, I don't know the existance of German manuals.

Hello.

Does it make sense to a Watec 902H3U a day / night lens how to use this?

http://www.c-tac.com/Objektive/variable-Brennweite/DEKOM-DE-TG3Z2910IR-29-82-mm1.html

Do we need an IR correction?

Regards

Yes it does.
TG3Z2910AFCS-IR is video auto iris, and TG3Z2910FCS-IR is DC auto iris.
Either one is good choice for Watec902H3U.

IR correction make sharpness better for IR-sensitive camera such as Watec902H2u, so it is recommended.
