When both Hauppauge capture cards were running on 720*576 resolution 25 FPS, then CPU load (under win7 64bit) for a single copy of UFO_Capture v2 shows approximately 5...6%. I had activated dark object, slow object and scintillation mask. When manually initiated "record", the CPU load increases to 7...8% per running copy of UFO_Capture v2. I still need to follow resource usage, when detection is initiated on two cameras at same time.
To me it looks there is still available CPU resources to run other applications on same PC, like radio meteor echo counting. Depends on CPU load it causes...

fyi,
Hauppauge's newest Impact VCB -drivers were here:
http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/support_impactvcb_pcie.html
I checked and the remote PC has driver 1.51.31310 <- most new. I will confirm few details of these, and put update later here...

In my configuration it was SATA2 interface at motherboard limiting read/write speed. Free Speccy -software is useful tool, when checking PC configuration. It displays a lot of data...

I have a question of video input adjustment at UFO capture v2 (when Hauppauge Impact VCB card used). See attached image... There is some settings on grey font and cannot be modified.
Does UFO capture access this menu using general win7 video "interface"?
If this means that Hauppauge capture card driver (or chipset on card) may not support these, I could doublecheck it from Hauppauge tech support.

It is a propertysheet of the device driver.
Application does not concern this.

I got feedback from Hauppauge support, settings are not in use:
"we support the dialog, and no we don’t support the items inside the Red box (they are not applicable)"

today evening when there was a clear sky, I got one meteor trail that is visible in both cameras field. At least the short trail (duration approx 0.5s) is visible in the both peak hold images that saved from both cameras to a common SSD drive. I could not see there any short gaps (?) that may indicate dropped frames....
