Dear Koji, from quick analysis has your spectrum resolution 0.15 nm/px. I tried it and there´re +- 100 lines. It will be great to try depth analysis of this great spectrum!

Hi Jakub,
Thank you for being interested in my spectrum. This is the highest resolution spectrum in my observations. I think the lens resolution matches the pixel size of the camera.

Hi All,
I got a semi-fireball spectrum in twilight of the dawn. The brightness is -2.5 mag.
The Mg lines (green) look brighter than the Na line (orange). I feel this is typical type in the LYR meteor.

A great result.
I caught a remarkable Lyrid on the morning of the 22nd April.

I also captured the spectrum and agree, there is a significantly stronger magnesium line compared to sodium.

Hi Bill,
I have seen your uploaded video image. It is a nice bright meteor and meter train.
The spectrum of the meteor is good result, too. The spectral lines look very sharp.
Have you capture the spectrum of the meter train? I’m interesting about it.

Dear Koji,
No I don't have a spectrum of the train. It is very difficult to do with video as the train is much fainter than the meteor head forming the spectrum.
I caught an even better one last night on all 4 of my spectro systems! Two of the results are excellent with one of them being in the second order.
I'll post the results when I've finished processing them.

Dear all,
I uploaded the meteor spectral image catalog in 2016 captured by my 4K video system. Almost spectra are faint, but some bright one are very good. The list of the catalog shows the roughly classified spectrum type, shower and etc. by the naked eye.

A bit later than planned....
I plotted the three Lyrid fireball spectra on a common graph. It's always reassuring to see the basic properties being near identical for meteors from the same stream.
Koji: This shows that with the Lyrids there is definitely an indication of greater Magnesium strength than Sodium.
I'm pleased with this results as I've been defeated by the weather during the last few years with this shower.

The graph is nice and interesting. These spectra are quite analogous to each other. It is difficult to observe some Lyrid spectra in Japan, too.
I’m interesting about the difference of spectrum within a stream.

Exactly, it is looking for the subtle differences that is the challenge!
Thank you for your kind words, I owe a great deal to several senior members of staff who supported my application.
The exam was both terifying and hugely exciting at the same time!
Despite many years as a meteor observer it is only because of the superb UFO capture software my observations were possble so I owe SonotaCo a very large whisky the next time I am in Japan!

Dear all,
I summarized my spectra of iron meteorids for Japanese Meteor Conference 2017. I have observed 37 iron meteorids from 2015 to 2016 by my 4K video system. I concluded that these spectra are very similar shape. It means that the intensity ratios of each iron line are almost same. Additionally, Na and Mg lines could not observe in iron meteorids.
I like iron meteorids. I hope to continue the observation of this type.
