Hello.
I want to share a problem with UFOCaptureHD2 V4.80 2023/03/14 that occurs on Windows 10 Pro v 22H2
In the "Operation" tab - in the "Detect Schedule (LT)" section there are settings "Auto Adjust to Sun".
I set the option "Shutdown after detect end"
BUT when detection starts, the computer turns off!
Explain, is this a problem in the program or did I mess something up with the settings?
I am attaching a screenshot.

Thank you for clear explanation.
One of my computer uses same setting "Shutdown after detect end"=ON, v4.80, w10 22H2.
But it works fine every night and no unexpected shutdown happens.
Also no similar problem has reported ever.
I think it cannot be happen as normal behavior with any setting of UFOCapture.
So I need to know the detail situation to imagine what is happening.
Does the shutdown happen immediately after the detection begins?
Does it not happen when "Shutdown after detect end"=OFF ?
Is there some action set as the "Action" in the Operation sheet?

This happens immediately after detection starts
I attach a screenshot of the "operations" tab
When the "shutdown after completion" checkbox is unchecked, shutdown does not occur.

Thank you for showing the Operation tab and now I came up with a possible cause. Sorry, it could happen by the setting.
In your setup, you have two schedules, and the start time of the second schedule is the same as the end time of the first schedule.
In this case, the first schedule ends at 18:51, and the system shuts down at that time, when the second schedule stars.
I can't imagine what behavior you are expecting, but unfortunately the shutdown setting is the same for the two schedules, so such a setup would cause the system to shut down right after the detection starts.
Also, in this example, the end time of the second schedule is set after the start time of the first schedule. I cannot imagine how it should work.
I recommend to use only the second schedule for usual night sky observation.
