Hello, I can't register UF4A.AX.
The UA4.EXE file is in admin mode, the antivirus didn't block anything.
The only difference with the manual is that I don't have the "security" box in the file properties.

I tried on two different PCs (win10 home64 & win11 home64), with the same error.

When I click on the clip the following messages appear:
"UE001:UNABLE TO REGISTER UA4F;ax"
Then "UM019: Cannot Find UA4F Please run as administrator (the first time only) and try again"
Then UA4 closes.


I didn't have this problem when registering UFOHD2.

Hi,
One possibility is that Windows has restrictions on where .ax files can be registered,
(ax modules cannot be registered in directories that contain non-U.S. English characters, directly under the drive root, nor below some special folders.)
You might solve this problem by the following. Please try.
1) Create a directory with a name consisting only of pure English (ASCII-7bit) letters such as “UFO” at the top of the C: drive.
2) Place the UA4_64 or UA4_32 directory in the created "UFO" directory, check profile of UA4F.ax not to be protected by download security.
3) Run UA4.exe in administrator mode and play a avi.

The UA4 directory is configured correctly but I still have the same problem.
I did a fresh install of windows10 but the problem is the same.

Shouldn't the UA4F.ax file be in the zip ?

Sorry
The zip package (UA4_v432 20240816) did not contain UA4F.ax.
Now it is fixed on the SonotaCo.com (package date 2024/8/28 ).
missed ax for UA4_64 is below

This problem could not be found because it was tested by directory over write.
