Has anybody been able to detect and record satellites ?
Is it possible with UFO capture ?
I don't have any problems detecting meteors, iridiium flashes and aircraft but no regular satellites, space station, etc.
I have "slow object mask" off
Any help ?

Hi rlupack, welcome here.
Usually satellites are very slow so you should tune Scintillation Mask parameter also with Slow ObjMask off.
SMspeed = 1 would be better for satellites, or if you are using very wide (like all sky) lens, the Scintillation Mask off might be better.
If you want to get more,,,, it will be easy to get satellites using narrow FOV (using long focus length) lens.
Once I used 50mmF1.2 lens for 1/2inch CCD (about 7 degree FOV). It got so many satellites .
Almost half of them are hidden ones and I could not identify them. |

Hello SonotaCo..
Thank you for your suggestions.
Yes I am using a "all sky camera Lens" so perhaps the quality is just not good enough.
I've not been able to actually see a satellite while watching my computer screen but I
am just assumming that something like the space station would show up.
I'll keep trying your suggestions with hope.
