Well,
It seems, a color camera using very slow shutter for night sky.
Probably its native sensitivity is 1/100 to 1/1000 of our usual equipments on same shutter speed.
So it may be good for time lapse video recording, but not good for motion detection or fast movement recording.
There are some products for all sky observation.
But as far as i know, most of them have not enough sensitivity for meteor video recording at normal frame rate, except I.I or EM-CCD camera system.
So I am recommending to use not all sky single camera but standard (up to 60 degree) FOV multiple cameras. It contributes for measurement accuracy also.
My station Tokyo1 uses 8 cameras to cover nearly all sky. |

Yes sonotaco,
I've check the technical data of this cam it's only 0.4 lux sensivity but a sens-up of x256 could be use......so I think it's not a good idéa to spend a such amout of money in one station.
as you I prefer to have 4 cam with à FOV of 70° to cover my sky |
