Hi
There is no product for HD Lifecams.
UFOCaptureHD: New version of UFOCapture (up to 1920x1080/60i, using 4 core CPU) does exist, but not opened to public yet.
Because it requires un-compressed HD video camera with HD-SDI or HDMI interface and there is no proper camera yet.
It cannot handle compressed video stream, so HD webcams such as Lifecam cannot be used.

Il faut tous simplement désinstaller les pilote de la camera pour avoir toutes les résolution comme 1280*720 en HD
I vien to find the trick to run the camera LIFECAM Fool in HD
We must all simply uninstall the driver of the camera for all resolution like 1280 * 720 HD

我々は、すべて単に1280年のようにすべての解決のためのカメラのドライバをアンインストールする必要があります* 720 HD
Find ORIGINAL configuration message on the Internet
On the same Toshiba notebook computer, I am now able to capture the 1280X720 HD video at 30 frames per second after uninstalling the Microsoft Lifecam Driver using Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs. Isn't it odd that you need to uninstall Microsoft software that comes with the webcam, in order to get it to perform as advertised by Microsoft? After you uninstall the Microsoft Lifecam Driver, in video capture software the "Video Capture Pin" properties window appears as below:
For "Color Space/Compression" there will be two selections, YUY2 and MJPG. Selecting MJPG enables the faster video capture frame rates up to 30 fps, including the 1280X720 HD resolution setting. In order for the MJPG setting to work, you will need to have an MJPG codec installed on your system. I tried a few I was able to obtain online and the one that worked best for me is "picvideo m-jpeg codec v4" by Accusoft Pegasus. A free trial can be downloaded online to make sure it will work well on your system. A low cost version can be purchased for home use. I'll be testing other MJPG codecs. If you find another one that performs well, let me know.
The importance of the 30 fps frame rate for astro-imaging is that more 1280X720 HD frames can be captured during a certain period. An example is the two-minute window available when imaging Jupiter. At 10 fps, 1200 frames are captured. At 30 frames per second, 3600 frames are captured and this greatly increases the likelihood of higher quality frames for stacking. I found that the software K3CCDTOOLS3 and Registax 4 & 5 opens the captured AVI files and processes them well.
To date, I have tested 9 video capture programs with the LifeCam HD using the PicVideo 4 Trial MJPG encoder to allow 1280X720 resolution at 30 fps:
1. IC Capture Trial - works perfect
2. AMCAP - works perfect
3. Open Video Capture - captures perfect but preview freezes during adjustments
4. K3CCDTOOLS3 - captures perfect but preview freezes during adjustments
5. VirtualDub - captures perfect but preview not available during adjustments
6. wxAstroCapture - dropped frames - low capture frame rate
7. Debut Video Capture - MJPG not an option
8. NeoExpress3 Capture Video - MJPG not an option
9. QCfocus - high definition resolution not available

Well, Thank you for reports. nice picture
We also have been seeking the way to HD observation.
But as for night sky, HD observation is very difficult yet.
The difficulties are ...
1) Proper hi sensitivity HD camera does not exist yet.
(EM-CCD HD cam is existing but they are far above 10000 USD)
(Webcams or HD video camcoders have very poor sensitivity -- almost 1/100 or below sensitivity of required)
(HDMI monitor output of digital still cameras (ex DMC-GH2, ISO 12800 with 25mmF0.95 lens) can be used for this, but it contains many overlay indicators in image)
see
http://sonotaco.jp/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2391
2) Video input interface bandwidth limit.
(HD un-compressed video requires almost 1.5Gbps.
It requires HD-SDI or HDMI or USB3.0.
PCIx1 or IEEE1394a or USB2.0 is not usable)
3) Scintillation mask processing requires new parallel processing program (UFOCaptureHD) and 4 core CPU.
4) HDD writing speed limit.
It requires 2Gbps continuous writing speed.
(Raid 0 by 4 HDD drive is required)
2)3)4) can be handled now, so we are waiting 1) for years.

There are cameras with the Sony ICX445 sensor, which is a 1/3" Exview HAD CCD of 1296x964 pixels. I have no idea what the image quality is for night sky though. It's more pixels on a smaller sensor. See: http://www.ptgrey.com
They have raw data transfer possibility but I'm not sure if it can be used with UFOCapture or only their own program.

Thank you for introduction.
Point Grey is new to me, seems good industrial cameras with latest interfaces include HD-SDI.
If there are hi-sensitivity ones, they will be good candidate....
