Wondering if there is any merit or makes any sense to install a filter into a Watec 902H2 to reduce the effects of light pollution? Maybe an IR pass filter or some sort of light pollution supression filter? Not even sure if such an animal exists in a c mount size though.

I have never heard of using those filters.
May be it has some merit for detecting faint meteors,
but I think weather(transparency) or moon light condition decides almost everything, so filters seems no so attractive.
