UFOCaptue supports PAL/SECAM 25Hz video streams, but there are some problems in PAL/SECAM recording.
UFOCapture uses DirectX Direct Show interface to get video stream.
UFOCapture uses the driver program which is supplied by the capture board's manufacture.
UFOCapture can run only if the driver supports proper size and video format in Direct Show interface.
The video formats which is allowed by UFOCapture are below.
I420, IYUV, YV12, YUY2, UYVY (320x240 or 640x480)
DVSD(IEEE1394) (360x240, 720x480)
Software encode video capture equipments normally supports one of these formats.
Hardware encode video capture equipments normally does not support these formats.
IEEE1394-PAL(720*576) is not supported by UFOCapture yet.
If anyone know which board can, or which board cannot, Please share imformation here.
In my experience, the boards below are usable in PAL/SECAM analog input (640*480).
